Bedding For Bunks - Here's What You Need To Know

We love bunk beds! No, really, we do. It’s every kid’s childhood dream come true. Either you’re sleeping on the top like a big girl or boy, or you’re cosily ensconced in the bottom bunk with a buddy above you, looking out for you while you snooze. It’s just marvellous all around. Plus, it makes every night feel like a camping adventure!

Of course, parents love bunk beds for different reasons. First of all, it’s a great space-saving choice. Kids’ rooms aren’t always very spacious, and bunk beds create more sleeping surface without taking up more floor space. After all, kids play on their floors. Whether it’s Barbies, or Hot Wheels or robotic LEGO (totally a thing now!), they need room to spread out and let their creativity reign supreme. 

So, suffice it to say, bunk beds are all sorts of awesome. Until you have to cover it. Then things get slightly more complicated. 

See, with conventional beds, the person making the bed has space to maneuver right around the bed. Plus, they don’t have to work at height. However, when it comes to bunk beds, there are a few challenges in the mix. First of all, bunks tend to be positioned flush with the wall, since it makes it less scary for the person on top. Secondly, that top bunk is a ways off the floor. 

So making these beds can get quite tricky. Here are a few things to keep in mind when shopping for bedding that will make this task a little simpler: 

Choose Bedding That Works Year-Round
