World Sleep Day 2013

February 27, 2013

World Sleep Day 2013

World Sleep Day is Friday March the 15th, 2013. So how should we in South Africa celebrate it? Should we try and get an extra hour of sleep? Or maybe go out to one of the local BedKing stores and purchase a new bed? Both are good ideas, but one of the most important things that we need to do is understand and spread the knowledge why sleeping and a good bed play such an important part in our lives.

Talk and Learn

It is important to spread the word about good sleep and how it affects our health, wellness and even our mood. Simply talk to your friends and relatives and find out what they do to get a good night’s sleep. Then share your sleep tips with them. Better yet, send them to this blog and get them to read some of the previous healthy sleep posts in our BedKing Sleep Blog Category. Here they can find out how sleep affects memory and intelligence, while learning 10 tips on how to improve the quality of sleep that we all get.

Why Celebrate World Sleep Day?

Sleep deprivation is very dangerous to all of us and it can lead to many serious diseases. Help us celebrate World Sleep Day 2013 with the rest of the world and let us raise the awareness of these important sleep issues.
