Top tips to keep allergies from impacting on your sleep

  • Showering and dressing in clean pyjamas before bed to reduce the allergens you carry into bed with you. 

  • Checking that your evening medication does not contain anything that will keep you alert (e.g. pseudoephedrine in certain decongestants). 

  • Clearing your sinuses with a saline spray to reduce mucus and congestion. 

Following these guidelines will pave the way for restful sleep, despite any allergies you may have.
