Greater Cape Peninsula

We have a comprehensive fleet of Bed King delivery vehicles that leave from our warehouse and head-office each day. Our highly trained delivery staff appreciate they are very much a part of "The Bed King experience" and therefore take great care as they deliver our customer's purchased items to their front door.

Delivery Lead Times

Most orders are delivered within 2 to 15 business days. If the product description includes special delivery information, this will replace the standard delivery procedure. Our website offers a delivery icon on each main product page displayed (among other icons) right above the product picture. Please click this icon for more delivery info.

Local Delivery Times

On the day that your delivery is scheduled you will receive a call from us informing you of your 2-hour delivery window.

Early morning deliveries will be confirmed by phone the previous day.

Our trucks are on the road between 8.30am and 5pm each day so your delivery slot could be anywhere within that timeframe. Please keep in mind that traffic conditions and delivery hold-ups can sometimes affect the time it takes our driver to get to you. If you require an update you can call your sleep consultant.

We do our best to organise the most convenient time for delivery and to confirm with you on the day. If you are not at home on the scheduled time, we do charge for re-delivery. If you are not able to be at home at the scheduled time please let us know as soon as possible. Depending on where you live, perhaps your building manager, a trusted neighbour or family member can admit the delivery team and direct them where to set up your purchase.

Please note: The person signing for the delivery must be over 18 years of age.

Delivery Charges

Our stores charge R250 for all local deliveries (Greater Cape Peninsula). Should we have to deliver outside this area, please contact them for a quotation. The Bed King also trades nationwide through means of our website and National Sales Call Centre with daily deliveries in major hub areas like Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, PE, Bloemfontein & Cape Town. Should you be an online customer, we deliver in these hub areas at no charge through means of sub-contractors. Note that free delivery do not apply to items below the value of R2000 (this don't apply to items like linen or other small items that will be posted). Please ensure that you select the correct hub-area when completing your billing & shipping information. Should we have to deliver outside the specified areas, please contact us for a quotation on 0860 25 35 45. The delivery icon on each of the product pages (situated just above the product picture among other icons) also offers a feature that calculates you cost through your area code. Areas without predetermined delivery charges will ask you to contact us for a quotation.

National

On the day that your delivery is scheduled our subcontractor will contact you to arrnage an estimated time of delivery on the day. Please keep in mind that traffic conditions and delivery hold-ups can sometimes affect the time it takes driver driver to get to you. If you require an update you can contact our national call centre on 0860 25 35 45.
