What is Sleep Apnoea and CPAP? [VIDEO]

This video provides a general overview of the symptoms and most common treatments for obstructive sleep apnea. Sleep apnoea is a sleep disorder that causes a person to stop breathing during sleep. Loud snoring and choking noises are also common signs of this specific sleep disorder. The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) reports Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (or CPAP as it is commonly abbreviated to) is the front-line treatment for sleep apnea.
